The Challenge
Every piece of material, from demolition waste out to stone benchtops in, travelled through a standard-sized building elevator. That constraint shaped everything: material selection, fabrication into transportable sections, sequencing of trades, and protection of the building's common areas throughout.
The Result
Walls between three dwellings disappeared into one coherent, free-flowing floor plan. The complexity of how it was built is invisible in the finished home, which is exactly the point.
